Ghoulish trail to walk
along
- The last but certainly not the least
scary spot. Some even said it is the scariest of all. It
is the ultimate nightmare for those who visited there
before. After crossing a rusted metal chain, you are about
to walk on a very narrow track where even the slightest
moonlight will be blocked by the thick forest. Tombstones
are just about one feet away from you on the both sides of the
track. Walk tenderly as though you would be afraid of
disturbing "their" silent territory.
However, the deadly giant red ants wouldn't allow you to slow
down your paces. They would crawl all the way up to your
thighs under your pants should you accidentally step on their
nests. And yes, they do bite! They would come in an
army of dozens and they bite painfully hard as human flesh is a
rare feast to them in this deserted place. Furthermore, in this hostile terrain,
watch out what is over your head. This forest is exactly
where the Pontianacks were rumored to reside. They feed on
whatever dead or fresh meats they can find, even strayed dogs
can't escape...
In this eerie cemetery, what contradict us most is that there
lived somebody at the end of the cemetery track. You have
to see to believe. Somebody (or people) have illegally
built a shelter right on top of the graves as their flooring.
You will see a cage of dogs is kept at the back, and several
household utensils are conveniently placed among the tombstones
under the shelter. The caged dogs don't bark. They
sit still and quietly staring at you, that makes you wonder if
the secure cage is to keep them from coming out, or to keep them
safe inside. Who is the owner? Who would live there?
and why would he choose to stay there? Nobody knows.

- A narrow track leading deep
into Mt Pleasant Cemetery
- Wilderness of vegetation and
tall trees where Pontianacks were sighted
- A secretive hut illegally built
on the graves at the end of the track
