Animal Instinct

Case 009

Submitted by SPI Agent - Kenny on Wednesday, September 11, 2002 3:06 PM

hi all,

do you believe it or not? this morning, i found a canary on my window sill. this little colorful poor thing looked very anxious, trying to find a way into my house thru the window. this is a strange thing as you all know that birds do step back from human.

you know what, just after lunch time, in macau, a typhoon hit. the whole university evacuated, and the wind was so strong that blew off many debris up on the sky. trees were uprooted. i can feel that my office building was shaking! fire engine and ambulances were running everywhere...

to this extent, i suppose animals like birds can sense unusual phenomenon or disaster better than human do. at least i didn't sense any weather difference this morning, woke up and went to work as usual. but that little canary did!

now, i ask a question, by assuming animal has a special instinct, can they sense spirits or the dangers radiated from spirits?

to test out, we may try to bring along our pets to haunted places or cemeteries and see what would be the outcomes?

There have been many documented accounts of animals being extra sensitive to disasters, even dogs traveling many miles to save their owners who are in trouble! As i was reading ya email, the scene from The Eye flashed in my mind, remember when the petrol tanker was gonna explode? These black figures swamped 2wards the scene?

Maybe these supernatural beings emit some sort of magnetic waves or something that these animals pick up? Cos, alot of fishes use their sense to detect the magnetic lines of the Earth to navigate. So maybe the increased magnetic fields causes them to be disoriented? Last year, when we went fishing, i think there was some irregular pattern in the weather in Pulau dayang. Think El Nino could have caused the change. And you know what? Bait fish, like Ikan Selar and Kembong are used to be caught only in the day in the open sea, but my friends could not catch any in day! Instead they were caught at night, in the channel between two islands!! The fishes seemed disoriented!!

Another thing could be that most animals are colorblind, so could it be that they actually see these entities, as the animals are able to see at different wavelengths from us humans? But think it might not just be disasters, cos i remember reading in Young Generation (remember that primary sch magazine?) something about how spiders would take an evening stroll if it was gonna rain at night......
