Hi, it me again. Two places to
check out. One is the Sarimbum Scout Camp, located near to Sungei
Gedong Camp. Once into the camp, proceed towards the central pond.
at the pond side, there are a total of 5-6 elevated huts. Check
out the huts' backyards. I once went there to check for
serviceability of the huts as part of my polytechnic camp, even
though it was a bright morning at about 1030hrs, hardly any
sunlight got shone onto the ground. it's as if the whole place
swallowed up excess sunlight, and I personally felt a drop in the
temperature. Hope this is useful, the place is quite ulu so not
many people know about it.
That time when I went in was as a part of an organisation using
the scout camp. Once you gain entry to the camp, you will see an
elevated hall, turn left and behind the hall you will be able to
see the pond. You will need to go behind the A-frames. For legal
entry to the camp, I think you can speak to the care-taker uncle
that usually lives there, or you can write to Singapore Scout
organisation. That's all I have to offer...
Post a follow-up on this mystery
