With regards to the haunted
painting. Did Abductboy experience anything else with it? What
happened after he wrote that scary poem?
http://www.castleofspirits.com/hauntedpainting.html also has
information of the painting. Apparently the painting title is
"Hands Resist Him" & was painted by "William Stoneham" in 1945 or
19 something.
Now here is the wierd part. At
http://www.ghostbusters.net/disscussion/ghn/11/15341/ they
talk about a haunted painting. The person who post at that forum
claims he has a painting painted by Rembrandt Harmenzsoon Van Rijn
who was an artist in the 17th Century. That same painting also has
a boy & a girl & the girl holding something in her hand.
Sounds like they're talking about the same painting. But how can
that be? How can that be the same painting when the guy claims its
done by Rembrant in 17 century when William Stoneham said he
painted it in 19xx? Same painting by 2 ppl in different century?
Something is not right!

Hi Derrick,
This is abductboy. Thanks very much for your input.
I read the message board you linked. I think you are mistaken.
They were not talking about the Hands that Resisted Painting, but
rather the 16 century painting, this one: (as shown above).
somewhere along the posting, someone by the name of Mat came and
posted the two paintings.
It is then here that they started talking about ebay and the rest
of the stuff.
So they started talking about the 16th Century paint, then the
ebay one. There is no contradiction. :)
About my experience with that ebay, when I first laid eyes on
it... It was like a as a a tiny nuclear bomb exploded in my eyes,
I had to virtually stagger back, and switch off the screen to shut
out the evilness flowing from it.
thereafter, I didn't feel anything, nor did i dream about it
later. Do contact me again if you have further questions.

Hi, sorry I forgot to ask what you think about what many websites
wrote about the Hands Resist Him painting being a hoax? I mean
even the owner supposedly admitted it was bullshit just to
increase the value. Also, you saw the pic supposedly of the boy
walking out of the painting. Many have said that's a fake &
explained how using Photoshop can do it. Wat do u think? Do u
think its fake or really the boy walked out? Lastly, did u
download that pic as wallpaper?

HI Derrick,
There is no hoax in the sense that the painting do exist. The hoax
is that the seller perhaps fabricated the story about the movement
of the girl.
It still do not take away the strangeness of the drawing, nor what
the mood of the artist was at that time, or what inspired him to
paint that picture.
In an interview I read somewhere (and can easily be found), the
artist said that the boy was a picture of himself when he was
younger, and the girl was just a girl he thought up. Strange that
he drew her without eyes. I don't know about the old battery,
perhaps he drew it as it comes along...
The glass represented the thin line bewteen reality and the
unreal. The hands are the various phases of life that the boy must
undergo.. (or something like that)
The stories about the boy walking out, or the girl quarreling with
him... that part could never be verified from where we are. For
all we know, they are all bullshit.
I did download it down as a picture before. But now only retain a
small pic in my computer.
regards
abductboy
