	Tree Spirits Investigation II - Secret Shrines You will be surprised to know that Singapore has more than just high-tech facilities, modern buildings and a cosmopolitan city. For every tree that has a weird structure and a rich history, there seems to be a shrine. Why is that so? Is it a matter of culture or religious custom? You may ask whether tree shrines are harboring spirits. Or spirits are naturally attracted to trees especially the historical ones. And the shrines that are man-built under them, people intentionally and superstitiously placed statues inviting spirits to reside. You may get some insight from this investigation.
