Investigation into the Secrets of Dairy Farm   (Part 2 of 8)

Photographic Tour (1) - About the Story

The secret lies within the large jungle of Bukit Timah Reserve

The Legend of Ley in Dairy Farm

1. A sketch of how the three temples are built along a leyline facing directly East.
The BKE cuts between temples 1, 2 and 3. A row of wind bottles are setup.
2. The blue boxes on this map show the approximate locations of the three temples. The temple 3 on the far left has been demolished.

1 & 2.  The two giant old Banyan trees are standing on the ridge. Behind them there should be a temple in the past.
(Source comes from a caretaker of the tree shrines).
3. Overlooking view from the two Banyan Trees. Temple 1 and temple 2 are set amidst the forest over the other side of the expressway.
They form a straight line facing East
4. Further down the BKE, there is a cluster of SingTel communication installation.

1 & 2. Deity statues are placed at the tree shrine being worshipped – for the purpose of keeping up the tree “spiritually alive”;
3. The photos taken at Dairy Farm were 'distorted' by a  mysterious force; 4. One of them has a eerie face revealed!

Kicking Off The Investigation

1. SPI Office, known as “The Glass Cube” is where the investigators have their regular meetings and club gathering functions.
2. (From left) Elite Team Members of SPI: KC, Gate, Kenny, Abductboy and ET

1 & 2. Abductboy is amazed about the long stretch of wind bottles erected along BKE;
3. Checking on the expiry dates of the bottles, they are not too old;
4. Close up of how the wind bottles are setup, simply by placing an empty plastic bottle on a wooden stick. Their use is a mystery.

1. Temple 1 is situated approximately another 50 meters away from Temple 2;
2 & 3. We found Temple 2 (now it is converted to a warehouse) in the forest, approximately 30 meters away from the wind bottles.
4. Ruin of Temple 3 (the one behind the Banyan trees where Shaman Vasuki was worshipped)

A Meticulous Check

1. Bashing through some dense vegetation; 2. Exploring the abandoned warehouse (Temple 2);
3. The whole place is full of rubbles and ruins; 4. Searching for abnormal signs

1. SPI discovered an abandoned house – spooky Temple 2 where later Gate and KC encountered an unexplainable shadowy apparition
2. Found traces of ritual being held at the temple before
3. The four scariest deity statues – Hell Agents, ox-head, horse-face, and the black & white soul hookers
4. Spooky shadow projected on a wall. Not all the ghosts appear as light ball. Some come in shadowy apparitions

A Scary Night Search

SPI was in action, searching for Yo Yo in a deep jungle late at night

A Secret Meeting

1. The place where SPI met the mysterious man called Eye
It is the end of the track, off turn from Devil’s Bend in Old Upper Thompson Road
2. The puzzle is solved: Periplus is the publisher’s name that appears on the cover of Singapore Street Atlas
3. A sharp road turn in Upper Old Thomson Road is nicked Devil’s Bend. Many car racers had accidents there in the 70’s
4. This is the track leading to the reservoir, where SPI was supposed to meet the mysterious man called Eye

Yo Yo is Found

Poor Yo Yo is found dead at Dairy Farm mysteriously

The body has a spear-through wound, head and paws were chopped off

Miscellaneous Information

The Wak Hai Cheng Bio, a Chinese temple built in 1852, was designed (according to the luopan) to orientate towards yi with its rear facing xin for the concentration of beneficial influences. Before the sitting of the temple was finalized the high ground and low area around it were studied. The principal clues of the whereabouts of comic breath were captured and the water sources and courses were observed before the location and orientation of the temple were established.

Bukit Timah – Heavenly Horse Galloping across the Sky

The stretch of Bukit Timah commonly known as seventh milestone used to be a crowded and prosperous area in Singapore. Nearby there is a tall hill which was a source of granite. Bukit Timah Hill is full of legends. In feng shui, it is variously known as “fairies playing chess” and “roc spreading its wings” (fairies and roc are both paranormal flying objects!). However, some ancestors considered the place a “heavenly horse galloping across the sky” (UFO?). There is a poem on this phenomenon as an urban legend:

A general drills his solders to demonstrate their might
A heavenly horse gallops across the sky like a rainbow
Guarding an important treasure land,
Undergoing several changes.
