Pareidolia or Paranormal Series

Often we would encounter a ghostly face or two from photos during our investigation. The faces usually hide among clusters of random pixels. Some firmly believe that they are the evidence of supernatural power. Skeptics however argue that the faces are nothing but just a result of Pareidolia - a psychological phenomenon that a viewer will make out a significant image (usually a human face) from blurry patterns. In this series, we show you a collection of cases ranging from Ghostly Faces in Fire during Chinese Hungry Ghost Month to Ghosts of British soldiers from Alexandra Hospital where a massacre took place in WW2 killing hundreds of lives. Are those faces truly evidences of the paranormal or just delusions by Pareidolia? We invite you to find out.
