Trekking through the new punggol MRT station - Squish, Squish..


Stepping into a swamp on which an orb flied pass.

Trekking through an empty land behind the new Punggol MRT interchange, we got our boots all glued with mud.  The area was wet at night especially after a few days of rains.  Under the navigation of dim moonlight, we tramped through the somewhat swamp-like land and spotted the Maltida House ahead of us, like a phantom in darkness.

Suddenly I felt an unusual breeze wafting beside me, like a chill behind my ear.  Without any hesitation I held up my camera to snap at nine o'clock, then snapped again at eleven.  We didn't what had happened.  But only found out later when we reviewed the photos on computers that there was a bright orb beside me.  As you can see in the photos above, the same orb was moving pass me across the two consecutive photos at different angles.  Although the house ahead looked eerie and lonely, we continued our pace marching towards it with a fast-thumping heart.

Looking eerie and scary - a empty  structure with strong spiritual forces around.

The closer we were to the Maltida House, the more fear we felt from the bottom of our hearts.  We have been to many so-called haunted places before and were dare to walk even in complete darkness.  However, the feel of horror emerging from this house was just so intense.  Like invisible phantoms, we felt something, or in fact, a large number of something, were watching us.  They were everywhere around the house.  We kept telling ourselves, it was only an empty house on an empty land.  Empty?  We asked ourselves doubtfully.  Not really, at least it was not as how we felt.  We were not alone.

Standing in front of the house, Kenny couldn't help to rub off his goose bumps on his arms and quickly said a Holy Christian prayer.  Speaking aloud, in Holy words, somehow helped strengthen our guts.  Not forgetting why we were here, we pulled out our cameras and started shooting at all different angles while we walked around the house.  In particular, we used on and off the night-vision mode which allowed us to take photos without camera flash.

Orbs! A lot of orbs appeared in our photos.  We suppose they cannot be reflection of dust.  In the pictures, no flash was used in night vision.  If they were reflection of dust then we should have more of such orbs (reflection) appearing near the ground.  It is known that there is always more dust particles near the low ground level than high.  But the orbs in the photos appeared to be high above in air, near the house.  Whatever they are, we need to conduct more experiments to further verify so.

Nevertheless, we were sure that the house inside invisibly hid many 'forces' that are beyond description in words.  It was like having dozens of serpents moving around the deserted house inside, hostile, vicious and aggressive to kill.  We stopped at the fence and from which we zoomed in with our camera to investigate.


Decoding the secrets within

We thank an anonymous group who sent us the photos below.  As stated in the first part of this article, Maltida house is filled with rumours of being haunted by spirits because people used to come in and performed black magic.  We want to find out what is inside.  In the first photo below, it shows the back door of the house where a man was shining his torch light.  Somehow as you can see, the torch light was twisted until it looked like a skull, roaring angrily at the intruder.

The next thing that alarmed us after the mysterious number 7447, is a Chinese character written in blood-like red paint right on the wall at the back entrance.  There was no other trace of similar red-painted graffiti nearby.  So obviously, somebody brought in the red paint, just for writing this mysterious Chinese character.  We showed this character to many Chinese friends of different dialects.  But none of them can figure out what that is.  According to one Taoist friend who is familiar with Chinese rituals, he said the first few strokes on the left resemble some talismans which are commonly used to summon spirits.

The guy who sent us these photos was at the backyard.  The house looks more ruined and scary at night.

Further inside the house, you can see it is absolutely empty; just like a skeleton of building remained after generations of age.  The walls were relatively clean except the walls near the back entrance (or exit) where a mysterious Chinese character was has some blood stain or red-paint stain.  On the floor, it was covered with broken ceramic tiles.  There were piles of broken tiles around.  On a particular pile near the back door, as shown in the photo, there was some burnt ashes left over by somebody.  Could it be because of the ritual?  The bath tubs and basin were badly smashed.  We don't know whether it was due to vandalism or the constructors demolished them.

A pair of dead birds were decomposing freely on the floor.

Another weird discovery in this house is a pair of dead birds.  They died in the living room area near the back of the house, in a distance of few feet apart.  Dead birds may not be a very uncommon sight.  But this house is roofed; so the birds must either have flied into the house from the windows and died, or somebody brought them in and executed them.  If they were died naturally, the probability of having two birds died in the same house at almost the same period of time could be quite small.  Then what had brought them in? and took their lives?  Would there be some unknown force in the house?  Or some people have really trespassed in and invited the force to the house through ritual?


And the creepy observation from outside

Back to our SPI team who was investigating this heritage property from outside.  Being not surprised that there may exist plenty of spirits over this vacant land that once stood a wild jungle in Punggol, we concentrated on checking out all sides of the house.  The three photos below are quite significant.  The first one showed an ordinary orb on the right.  The second one, showed there is a patch of illumination at the servants' quarter.  What coincided so well is that the hazy light was coming out from the wall where it got the mysterious number 7447 written on!  By enlarging the picture as shown in the third photo, you can see there is one or two milky figurines somewhat like a ghost called 'Pocong' in Malay legend.  They look as if they were emerging out from the wall into existence...!

The first and second photos were taken in sequence.  Zooming up the 2nd photo it reveals an opaque figurine.


Orbs were found at the side entrance and on the roof.

Apart from the ghostly photos, we found another strange sight - the soil mounds that look like graves.  There are four of them, may be more, just outside the Punggol house.  They may be left over by the construction job of demolishing the land.  Or may be they are burials by somebody?  They have a wooden stick with a plastic bag tied on as markers.  Coincidentally, each soil mound measures at about 7 feet long and 2 feet wide.  The size is very well suited to have a human body covered underneath.  Well, we have found only clues but not evidences.  But these clues suggest spooky things that have probably happened here.  So what had happened?  Evil ritual, intruders died of curse, horrible murders, or unnatural deaths?  Only God knows...
