Tree Spirits and Tree Worship

Urban legends in all different countries commonly suggest that there are spirits residing in plants and trees.  Tracing back to ancient times, people ever worshiped trees or the spirits inside for all sorts of purposes.  To many people these are only bed-time tales floating around; but to some who are religious they take it as a fact of life.  Together with a professional film production crew from WalkerAsia, SPI went deep into the deserted zone of Track 14 Chua Cho Kang Cemetery to investigate on the details of tree worship.  We found evidences of tree worship.  But then what are those spirits?  Why people are so fascinated to worship them?
