Listen to the story
here.
I was in the Boy’s
Brigade, and the only Malay in the company. As the medic officer in
Sembawang, we pitch a camp at the campsite, beyond the beach, with
very few people, in front of DB campsite. We were there for 3-day
camp.
As the only Malay I need to patrol the whole campsite. There were two
underground bunkers in Sembawang. One near the jetty, one near us.
During at night we were doing night games. We were supposed to go
through the bunker and come out from the other side.
As the medical officer I have to go first to check if it’s safe or
not.
I went in only 1 wick candle and 1 box of matches. I went in alone,
wondering why I am alone.
While inside, I heard something inside calling to go to the last end
of the bunker (the toilet location). When you flush it, it still can
discharge, but the water is red in colour). Like blood. I ran off to
see them.
The second night I was again doing night sentry duty. Sembawang is a
very big campsite, and I need to go the other side of park to check.
Near the jetty, there is a big tree, and a big tunnel. When you cross
over, you know the Pochong and pontianack thingy? I saw the Pochong
standing there. For me it’s common, as I see it too often (the Pochong)
and feel it too many times. I walked past, and it then became a fog.
When I report back to camp to my officer, my officer asked me where’s
the other 3 person, but I told him I was alone.
