Fen Lai Dreamt about Yung Mei Ling

Hong Kong famous singer Fen Lai is a sister (classmate) of Yung Mei Ling because they both are students of famous teaching singing lecturer, Tai Sze Chung. After Yung Mei Ling's suicide, Fen Lai had met Yung Mei Ling in her dream. Yung Mei Ling invited her to her new house in hell. And then Yung Mei Ling told Fen Lai that she did not like her new house in hell since it is dark and wet. Yung Mei Ling was uncomfortable staying here.

Soul Back Day; Ghost Stories

After Yung Mei Ling' mother knew the news from Fen Lai, she planned to burn a paper house to Yung Mei Ling and hoped that she would be comfortable living in hell. Even though Yung Mei Ling is Catholic. However, in the custom of Chinese, the soul will come back after he/she died for first seven days. And there are some ghost stories: The first one was that there was a ghost of Yung Mei Ling appearing at the house of Yung Mei Ling's godmother, where Yung Mei Ling's mother stayed on May 21, 1985. Yung Mei Ling's mother feels that Yung Mei Ling touched her hands and hair. The most surprising thing is that the pair of Beryl earnings Yung Mei Ling liked most was somewhere else but was found on the top of table at the guest room at Yung Mei Ling's godmother's house on the eighth day after her death (May 22, 1985). In the original plan, Yung Mei Ling planned to wear that pair of Beryl earnings as the jewelry, is put on Yung Mei Ling's remains, but there was some mistakes occurred. Therefore, Yung Mei Ling's mother put another earnings instead. That is unbelievable. In the other way, Tai Sze Chung's wife feel that Yung Mei Ling was at her house for a while on the seventh day after death (May 21, 1985).

Don't Know Where She Stayed

Same as what Fen Lai described, Lee Heung Kam, the other godmother of Yung Mei Ling, famous TV actress, asked "Asking Rice Old Lady" (it is believed that some old ladies can invite ghosts at their bodies by hitting the table and rice.) about where Yung Mei Ling was. In the process, the "Asking Rice Old Lady" expressed that there were some ox-head, house-faced animals beside Yung Mei Ling. And when Yung Mei Ling was invited, the first word she asked "Where am I?" According to the explanation from the old lady, Chinese should die for three weeks and start to know that they died. After one hundred days, they will be worried. Yung Mei Ling died for almost two weeks. She may not know that she died.

Selling Gold

Lee Heung Kam said that she prepared to sell gold which Yung Mei Ling gave to her as a birthday present. Money from selling gold will be given to Yung Mei Ling's mother for her memento, or for the fee of death solemn mass. Anyway, everything she should do the best for her goddaughter.
