Articles on Paranormal

Call for Paper Submission

In every day, 99.9% of people are busy in working, making money, building career, mating and raising kids and so on.  How often do we have time and room to rest down, refresh our minds and spend some little time on thinking about life or after life?  As a non-religious, non-commercial but dedicated scientific research organization, SPI don't advocate any teaching or preaching.  In this study corner, we try to pay a little attention to the unresolved mysteries that happen around us and we think about what actually is behind.  This won't help you to earn an extra $100 or close another business deal.  But, it will bring satisfaction to our inquiring mind while seeking knowledge beyond our daily routines.

SPI Study Corner features questions covering but not limited to
Rumours, Skeptics, Mysteries, Unknown, Speculations and Theories.  We have many interesting write-ups on the paranormal topics, and you are of course invited to participate on sharing your views with us.  Our conquest to knowledge seeking on paranormal will speed up only when everybody can brainstorm together.

Our forthcoming series of SPI Study Corner will take you to explore the following topics in depth.

  • What is life/death?
  • Does heaven/hell really exist? Where?
  • What is ghost?  Are they frightening?
  • What is Orb's phenomenon?
  • Why ghost haunt us?
  • How to drive/cast away evil spirits?
  • Is there any relation between paranormal phenomenon and EMF?
  • Why ghosts were said to like hiding in damp & dark places?
  • How to see ghosts?
  • Where does a soul go after life?

You are invited to submit your write up on the above suggested topics or some related ones.  The format is of free style, that means the scope of your write-up ranges from personal experience to an in-depth research.  Elaborated background details and supporting evidences are preferred to be included in your write-up.  Illustrations in digital pictures are favored too.

Your submitted article should be original, unpublished elsewhere and preferably not longer than 5,000 words in length.  All accepted papers will be published on the SPI website and selected papers will appear in the hardcopy "Journal of Singapore Paranormal Investigation (Yearly edition)".  All the authors' names will be acknowledged.

In the near future, SPI will organize Paranormal Study Conferences that bring together speakers and delegates from the expert-field of paranormal.  There will be a variety of key-note speakers and discussion seminars.   We will announce the details later.

For submitting your article or any enquiry, please send Kenny an email.
